The Open Government Directive arrives

After a long wait it’s finally arrived…and it’s comprehensive. Earlier today the Obama administration acted on a promise the president made on his first day in office — to make government agencies more transparent, participatory and collaborative.

The Directive is outlined below along with commentary from Beth Noveck, Aneesh Chopra and Vivek Kundra.
